Kate Murtagh

Kate Murtagh (born October 29, 1920) is an American actress who has acted in such films as ''The Night Strangler'' (1973), ''Farewell, My Lovely'' (1975), ''The Car'' (1977), and ''Doctor Detroit'' (1983). Her television appearances were on ''Daniel Boone'', ''My Three Sons'', ''The Munsters'', ''I Dream of Jeannie'', ''The Twilight Zone'' and ''Highway to Heaven''.
Murtagh is pictured on the front and back covers of the English rock group Supertramp's 1979 multi-platinum recording, ''Breakfast In America''. She is portrayed on the front cover as a waitress named "Libby," holding a tall glass of orange juice, in place of the Statue of Liberty in an illustrated depiction of New York City. She is a native of Los Angeles, California. Retired from acting since 1999, she is, as of 2010, a resident at the Motion Picture & Television Country House and Hospital, where she still takes classes in improvisation.〔("It’s Libby, the Supertramp waitress!" )〕
